Rumor has it that Justin Bieber paid the photo company involved in the viral Standing on Business video an undisclosed amount to obtain rights to use the sound in his new track, Standing on Business from his new album Swag.

TMZ in an exclusive report published on July 11, 2025, claims that the singer had the photo agency sign an NDA to prevent terms of their contract from getting out. Bieber’s Standing on Business track begins with the audio from the exchange with the paparazzi before Druski interrupts to correct Bieber’s pronunciation of the word Business.

The influencer teaches Bieber how to pronounce the word, leaving out the “s” sound, to help get his meanings across to photographers next time.

On June 13, 2025, Justin Bieber had a confrontation with photographers as he was exiting SoHo House in Malibu. In the viral clip, the superstar looked frustrated as the camera operators snapped photos of him and seemingly invaded his privacy.

The Peaches hitmaker accused the Paparazzi of trying to provoke him before stating:

"You're not getting it, it's not clocking to you," Justin told the photographers in the video. "It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business."

The singer added:

"I'm a real dad, a real husband, a real man," Justin continued. "So don't f--king do this s--t to me, OK? I'm not to be f--ked with. I don't know who's paying you to provoke me, but I'm not the one."

The clip started circulating the internet as fans and media used the sound over their personalized videos. The two-time Grammy Award winner also joined the fun on June 25 by using a fan edit of the video with the caption:

“Still standing on it no joke.”

Justin Bieber dropped his seventh album, Swag, at midnight on July 11, 2025. The album features 21 tracks, including Walking Away, All I Can Take, Go Baby, Butterflies, Therapy Session and Standing on Business.

Swag boasts collaborations with Gunna, Sexyy Red, Cash Cobain, Druski, Dijon, Eddie Benjamin, and Lil B.

In Walking Away, Bieber addresses rumors about his marriage to Hailey Bieber using lyrics:

“Baby, I ain’t walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you, ‘I’d change’ / It’s just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t walking away,” he sings.
