Finesse2Tymes's mother, Pluria Alexander, has launched a GoFundMe page, claiming that her son has left her homeless, with her landlord giving her only days to leave the place. Pluria has stated that the fundraiser is to raise the money to move to a new place, amounting to the total of $6000 USD. The GoFundMe page has so far raised $2099 out of that amount. In the GoFundMe page, Pluria states:

"My name is Pluria, and I’m reaching out for help as I face eviction and the urgent need to find a new place to live. Until recently, my son was helping me pay my bills, but after a falling out, I’ve been left to manage everything on my own. Before I move to Texas I lived in Memphis, working, had my own car own place. I don’t know anybody here to help me."

The singer's mother continued:

"This is the third time my son’s actions have left me homeless, and each time it becomes harder to recover. My landlord has given me just a few days to pay, and I expect an eviction filing this week. I’m doing everything I can to stay close to my family and maintain my health, but the stress is overwhelming."

Alexander added that she struggled with mental health issues and alleged that her son was emotionally abusing her:

"I struggle with anxiety and depression, and the emotional toll of narcissistic abuse from my son has made things even harder. Last year, I was scammed by Nigerian fraudsters, which led to a money laundering charge. Now, I am currently in court and facing the possibility of six years in prison."

She continued:

"This charge has made it nearly impossible to secure housing, as I’ve already been denied by three different apartments. Despite these setbacks, I’m determined to find stable housing so I can rebuild and stay connected to my support system. The funds I raise will go directly toward moving costs, transportation, and deposits for a new place..."

Pluria Alexander ended her GoFundMe page statement with an expression of gratitude towards those who donate to the page. Finesse2Tymes, born Ricky Hampton, has responded to his mother's statement with a freestyle on his official Instagram page:

Finesse2Tymes has been involved in other controversies over the years

Finesse2Tymes has been involved in a number of other controversies over the years, from issues with his baby mamas to more serious legal issues. The rapper first started facing legal troubles in 2010, when he was charged with aggravated robbery and sentenced to eight years in jail, of which he served six years.

The singer subsequently faced a felony gun possession charge in 2017 and spent another five years in prison. In 2023, in a charge that was later dropped, the Houston police department accused the singer of theft.

On a more personal level, Finesse2Tymes has faced troubles with his baby mamas, after publicly stating that he left one of his pregnant girlfriends, Nia Love, and committed to a relationship with another one, Shugga. This was quickly followed by Shugga accusing Nia Love of faking the paternity of her child on social media.

Aside from his personal life and the issues that spill over on social media, Finesse2Tymes is known for his debut album, Art of War, which was released on November 22, 2024, as well as his various mixtapes.
