5 highlights you shouldn't miss from Glastonbury 2025 Day 3

The five-day Glastonbury festival is a celebration of music and artists and an opportunity for the audience to view it all. Here are some key highlights from Day 3 of the festival:

1. Lorde's surprise set

To her fans' joy, Lorde kicked off her surprise set on Friday at 11:30 am in celebration of her new album, Virgin. The singer performed her hits, including "Ribs" and "Green Light." At a point in her performance, the singer expressed gratitude towards her fans and spoke about her new album. She noted,

"This record took me a lot. I didn’t know if I’d make another record, to be honest, but I’m back here completely free. And I’m so grateful to you for waiting.”

2. Olivia Rodrigo's headlining performances

Olivia Rodrigo's power-packed performances were reportedly one of the highlights of the festival. The singer took to the Pyramid Stage and performed her hit singles, including "Driver's Licence" and "Get Him Back." According to Billboard, the singer was reportedly joined by Robert Smith of the Cure to perform on "Friday, I'm In Love" and "Just Like Heaven."

3. Lewis Calpadi's emotional return

Lewis Calpadi returned to the stage after a two-year hiatus, after he sustained bouts of tics due to his Tourette's syndrome. According to Timeout UK, the singer was unable to perform his set at the 2023 Glastonbury. On his arrival, the singer noted,

"I'm not going to say much up here today, because if I do I think I'll probably start crying."

He added,

"It's just a short set today but I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn't finish first time around on this stage."

4. 1975

According to RNZ, 1975's performance comes after their last in March 2024. The group reportedly delivered a high-energy performance, with Matty Healy clarifying at a point that the band was not there to make it about "politics." The band delivered its hit singles, including "Love Me" and "About You."

5. Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol reportedly made their comeback to the Glastonbury stage since their last performance in 2004. The band performed an early-evening set, with a heavy rendition of their hit single, "Chasing Cars."
