Gruesome's 2025 East Coast U.S. tour: Ticket info, dates, venues, and more explored

Florida-based death metal band Gruesome is officially hitting the road this August for a relatively short East Coast tour.

The band will be joined by Washington D.C. thrash trio Desolus on select dates. The tour has been designed to support Gruesome’s newly released album, Silent Echoes, which was officially released on June 6, 2025, via Relapse Records. This is Gruesome’s first new full-length in seven years.

The newly announced eight-date run is set to kick off on August 21, 2025, in Baltimore and wrap up on August 31, 2025, in Tampa. Desolus will join Gruesome from August 21 through August 28, 2025. The final three dates in Atlanta, Orlando, and Tampa will feature Gruesome as headliners without any support acts listed.

Gruesome took to its official Instagram handle to share the tour announcement, captioning:

"SILENT ECHOES AUGUST 2025 EAST COAST TOUR. Support by DESOLUS on select dates (8/21-8/28) "We are psyched as hell to get out and bring Silent Echoes to life on stage. It's been a long time coming! The band was formed in 2014. The group is made up of vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey (Exhumed), drummer Gus Rios (ex-Malevolent Creation), guitarist Daniel Gonzalez (Possessed), and bassist Robin Mazen (Derkéta). Their albums Savage Land (2015) and Twisted Prayers (2018) are some of their most beloved albums.

On the other hand, Desolus is a D.C.-based thrash/death outfit that formed during the pandemic. The lineup features Travis Stone (Pig Destroyer, Noisem, Cavalera Conspiracy) on drums, Jimmy Frost on guitars and vocals, and Vivek Rangarajan on bass and vocals. Their debut album, System Shock, was released in 2024 via Hells Headbangers.
