Braun recently spoke about the remorse and guilt he feels as he had failed to understand and prioritize the artist's mental health while he was managing them. In the interview, he said:

''I hadn’t taken the time to look at myself or do the therapy myself until I was older, so I didn’t understand at 25, 27, 30 years old that they were coming from very unique backgrounds of their own stuff with their own families and their own childhood growing up this way and being seen by the whole world and being judged by the whole world at a very young age.''

Braun also spoke about the pressure that comes with stardom. He said that he thinks that humans are made to serve, but then, when they are worshipped instead, something changes. He added:

''And I think being able to transcend the childhood of people cheering your name and everything else at that level and get to a place where the artists I’ve worked with are where they are in healthy relationships and with their families and still working through stuff but having a human experience, I think it’s a testament to their strength and I think that’s part of it.''

Braun then spoke about his relationship with Justin Bieber, whom he began managing in 2008 when Justin was only 13. Reflecting on their journey, Braun noted that they had achieved great success together. When asked about his current relationship with Justin, he stated that it was not the same as it had been before. He then added:

''We worked together for so long and we had such extreme success, and I think you get to a point as a man where you want to show the world you can do it on your own. And I completely respect that. I think at this point, that’s what he’s doing. Myself and everyone from the old team is rooting for him.''

In the interview, Braun also spoke about his mental health struggles during his divorce in 2020. He also mentioned his retirement from artist management and emphasized prioritizing authenticity, the power of therapy, and self-reflection.
