“I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby”: Cardi B opens up about touring and working during 4th pregnancy with Stefon Diggs’ child

Cardi B has shared that she is pregnant with her fourth child, the first one with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. The baby is expected before her tour begins in February 2026. She said,

"I feel like I'm in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I'm doing all this work — but I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby."

In a recent interview on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, Cardi B spoke frankly about how she is balancing her pregnancy, her music work, and her upcoming tour. She said,

"Me and my man, we're very supportive of each other. We're like in the same space in our careers."

She said Stefon Diggs helps her feel safe, emotionally and physically. Cardi B spoke about moments when she felt nervous or judged, and said Diggs’ support gives her confidence.


Cardi B is preparing for her tour while pregnant

Cardi B is planning to tour in February 2026. The tour is called Little Miss Drama. She says she wants to be ready physically and plans to do rehearsals and dancing after she gives birth. She said,

"This is the hard part for me. I’ve been waking up at 6 a.m. and going to bed at 2 a.m.. I’ve been going overseas, I’ve done fashion shows, I’ve done music videos."

She said in the interview that as soon as the album is out, she wants to get into physical shape.

"When the baby come out, my body will be loose and straight rehearsals with all my dancers. I’m not playing."

Cardi B also said that sometimes she feels pressure from people’s opinions. She said that people love her art, but some also criticize.

"People were coming at me very hard; you know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me."

But she says Diggs helps her feel confident and safe in spite of that.

"I feel like feeling safe, feeling confident, it makes you feel like you can take over the world."

She said she had a moment recently when she had a panic attack. She cried. She said the pressure of preparing the album, the expectation, and public opinions had built up. But she also said that pushing through the fear helps her grow.

Cardi B's personal life, support, and her children

Cardi B, whose legal name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has three children. They are with her ex-husband, Offset. The children are Kulture, age 7; Wave, 4; and daughter Blossom, born in September 2024. Stefon Diggs also has a daughter named Nova, born in 2016.

She said she and Diggs are in similar places in their careers, where both of them work hard and both want to keep improving. Cardi B said,

"I feel like we're really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way. 'Yeah, you're one of the greatest, but what's next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.' We're never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going it and that's just what we are."

Cardi B also said she delayed telling some people about the pregnancy. She wanted to "close some deals first." She also said,

"Let me close some deals first, you know what I'm saying? Let me close some deals first. And it's like, you don't really want to say right way that you're pregnant. It's like, 'Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.'"

She joked she had not yet told her parents when the interview was taped, because she was "scared" of their reaction. But she said her parents do like Diggs.

She also asked her fans for support. She said, now that people know, they can buy her new album.

"Y'all wanted to know, right? Now you know. Now y'all can buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told y'all, now go support my album 'cause I'm a mother of four now!" "

Cardi B is in her fourth pregnancy and expects her baby before her tour in February 2026. She is doing a lot of work now, from album release, rehearsals, to public appearances, all while she is pregnant. She says she must prepare physically, that she wants to be strong, and that being supported by Diggs helps her with confidence. She has spoken openly about pressure and criticism, and how challenging this time can be. But she also says she feels excited and powerful.
