More than a year after her record-breaking Renaissance Tour, Beyoncé began her Cowboy Carter trek in support of her album of the same name. The tour, which commenced on April 28 and ended on July 26, 2025, has become the highest-grossing country tour of all time.
According to Billboard Boxscore, it generated more than $400 million and is the shortest tour to achieve such a feat. The Cowboy Carter tour comprised only 32 shows across nine cities.
The 35-time Grammy Award winner performed in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Paris and London, amongst others. Beyoncé, who has completed ten tours, has also become the first female artist to generate $400 million from two tours.
The other artists who have achieved this feat include The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran.

Cowboy Carter, the album, debuted atop the U.K. Album charts and featured Texas Hold ‘Em, which held the apex position on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks in March 2024. Beyoncé accompanied the release of the Cowboy Carter album with a reflective post on Instagram.
The 43-year-old singer revealed that the album was born out of an experience that "I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed."
She added:
"The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. Act II is a result of challenging myself and taking my time to bend and blend genres to create this body of work."
Before concluding:
"I focused on this album as a continuation of RENAISSANCE…I hope this music is an experience, creating another journey where you can close your eyes, start from the beginning and never stop," she concluded. "This ain’t a Country album. This is a 'Beyoncé' album. This is Act II COWBOY CARTER, and I am proud to share it with y’all!"
