Jeff Tweedy 2025-26 tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Jeff Tweedy is officially preparing for a relatively busy fall in 2025. The Wilco frontman has announced a new triple solo album, Twilight Override, which is slated for release on September 26, 2025, via dBpm Records.

To support the album, Jeff Tweedy will kick off a North American tour, which is officially set to begin in early October 2025. The newly announced trek has been scheduled with more than two dozen stops across the U.S. and Canada. It will bring Jeff Tweedy's new material to life in intimate theatres and mid-sized venues, with a rotating roster of support acts including Sima Cunningham, Macie Stewart, and Liam Kazar.

Fans can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster and Tweedy's official website beginning at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation on July 17, 2025, using the code LIGHTS. Additionally, general tickets can be bought on July 18, 2025, onwards.

Jeff Tweedy took to his official Instagram page to share the tour announcement, captioning:

"Jeff Tweedy's new (triple) album 🌟 Twilight Override 🌟 will be available worldwide September 26, 2025. Vinyl, CD and Digital are up for preorder now. Celebrate with Jeff TODAY on Substack. He will be livestreaming at 4 p.m. CST, link in bio."

Jeff Tweedy's upcoming record, Twilight Override, is his first full-length solo project since 2020's Love is the King. The album was recorded at Wilco's Loft Studios in Chicago. The record spans 30 tracks across three discs. It features contributions from collaborators and family members, including his sons Spencer and Sammy Tweedy, guitarist James Elkington, and vocalists Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart.

The upcoming album has been structured into three thematic chapters. Its first four singles — "One Tiny Flower," "Out In The Dark," "Stray Cats in Spain," and "Enough" — were released alongside the tour announcement.

In a press statement, Jeff Tweedy mentioned:

"When you choose to do creative things, you align yourself with something that other people call God. And when you align yourself with creation, you inherently take a side against destruction. You are on the side of creation. And that does a lot to quell the impulse to destroy. Creativity eats darkness."

He continued:

"Sort of an endless buffet these days—a bottomless basket of rock bottom. Which is, I guess, why I have been making so much stuff lately. That sense of decline is hard to ignore, and it must be at least a part of the shroud I'm trying to unwrap. The twilight of an empire seems like a good enough jumping-off point when one is jumping into the abyss."

Jeff Tweedy concluded, stating:

"Twilight sure is a pretty word, though. And the world is full of happy people in former empires, so maybe that's not the only source of this dissonance. Whatever it is out there (or in there) squeezing this ennui into my day, it's f**king overwhelming. It's difficult to ignore. Twilight Override is my effort to overwhelm it right back. Here are the songs and sounds and voices and guitars and words that are an effort to let go of some of the heaviness and up the wattage on my own light. My effort to engulf this encroaching nighttime (nightmare) of the soul."
