Katy Perry recently shared a tour photo dump after her split with Orlando Bloom. There is no official statement made by either party, but the breakup between Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom has been confirmed by different media houses, including PEOPLE. Katy posted some snapshots from her travels in Australia, where she’s currently performing on her Lifetimes Tour.
The photos demonstrate Perry having a good time in Australia and interacting with nature and animals, most notably a quokka. She then went on to align her mood with one of Australia’s happiest animals by captioning the post as:
"mood: Quokka.”
The cheerful energy of the Australian tour is on display in the photos, where Katy Perry can be seen enjoying her time playing cards (and winning), and biking around the city. Some of the tour photos also depict her smiling and spending time with her four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
A timeline of the Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom relationship
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry began dating in 2016, and theirs is the kind of relationship that made a flying start. The two were noted to spend much time together during their public outings, which also included the American Idol finale and the now-infamous Italian vacation.
Amid persistent rumors of a rough patch, the couple worked it out through the phase, and it even led to Bloom proposing to Perry in 2019. Their engagement was celebrated publicly, with both families involved and supportive. The duo welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove the following year, but their plans to get married were paused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
After months of rumors of there being trouble in paradise, the news about Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's separation was finally confirmed by sources a couple of days ago. While they had once broken up before getting back together in the year 2017, their separation appears way more conclusive this time. The news was confirmed to PEOPLE by a source close to the couple, who revealed:
"They're pretty much done. (I) don’t really see them being able to turn things around here. The split is amicable," the source said. "They got to a point where they feel there is no going back to a healthy relationship and that it’s better to live separate lives. Katy doesn’t take the split lightly. She’s still doing great though."
According to PEOPLE, both of them are resolute about raising their daughter Daisy collectively despite the fact that they are no longer together.
In the weeks ahead, Katy will continue to tour Australia with Daisy, whereas Orlando was recently spotted attending Jeff Bezos’s wedding in Italy. We will be looking forward to updates regarding their split in the coming days, especially any official statements, and will keep you posted.
