Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National tour has emerged as the highest-grossing co-headline tour in history. According to figures reported by Billboard Boxscore, the tour by the hip-hop icon and R&B songstress has generated an impressive $256.4 million through the sales of over a million tickets and 23 shows.

The ongoing tour, which is scheduled to continue in Europe in July 2025, has beaten out Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On The Run II tour to secure first place on Billboard’s list of The 40 Biggest Co-Headline Tours of All Time. Ranking in third place on Billboard’s list is Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe’s The Stadium Tour in 2022.

More details on the Grand National Tour by Kendrick Lamar and SZA

The Grand National Tour began on April 19, 2025, in Minneapolis and is meant to promote Kendrick Lamar’s GNX album, which was released on November 22, 2024, and SZA’s first reissue album, SOS Deluxe: Lana. Each show of the Grand National Tour features a 52-song setlist of live mashups, synchronised transitions and fan-favourite tracks.

The show is usually divided into nine acts featuring the headliners performing their songs individually and together for a hyped crowd. The full setlist features some of Lamar’s hits like King Kunta, Euphoria, HUMBLE, GOOD CREDIT, and Count Me Out, amongst others.

SZA has dazzled crowds at different concerts with songs from her impressive discography, including Saturn, Kiss Me More, Snooze, Kill Bill, Rich Baby Daddy and Broken Clocks. Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Lizzo and Playboi Carti have appeared as guest performers.

SZA recently revealed to Pink Peony Club hitmaker Chappell Roan in a cover story for Interview Magazine that she was worried that the Grand National Tour concert attendees were only coming to see her tour mate Kendrick Lamar:

"Same thing with the Kendrick tour,” she said. "Everybody’s going to see Kendrick. I don’t even know if I have anything to show these people that’s exciting and new."

The Saturn hitmaker later revealed that she had gotten over her anxiety about performing and the GNX concert by facing her fears:

“Now it’s just like, ‘F–k it. I don’t have anything else to do, and I want to see where this door is going to lead. I want to walk through the door. I want to see what happens in the uncertainty.”

The Grand National tour will run through Germany, the UK, Netherlands, France and Spain, amongst other European countries in July 2025 before concluding in Australia in December.
