In the wake of Cardi B's upcoming album announcement, SZA has dropped a tantalizing hint about her possible involvement in the upcoming album, Am I the Drama? She recently posted an Instagram story featuring Cardi B’s upcoming album cover for her next album, sparking much speculation on social media. The caption that went with the story read as follows:

"Lemme send this verse chile"

Though speculations are still to be validated, fans have used SZA's endorsement of Cardi B's album as an affirmation of her presence. Fans have been acting as the driving force behind these speculations and have taken to social media platforms to compare fan-made track lists and theories and speculate on possible collaborations.

SZA and Cardi B's past collaborations

Am I the Drama? is set to release on September 19, 2025, and fans have had to wait a long time (7 years) to get updates on the project. Amid the rumors, it is also important to mention that the two artists have some history between them, after having worked together previously on tracks such as No Love (including Summer Walker) and Never Lose Me (in a collaboration with Flo Milli).

Apart from the aforementioned projects, SZA also appeared in the debut album by Cardi B titled Invasion of Privacy, which included other big names such as Migos and Chance the Rapper as well. The works of Cardi have already established a precedent when it comes to getting high-profile collaborations, and adding the All the Stars-famed star to the equation has the potential to become as good as any.

The two artists have shown laudable chemistry in their past partnerships and have mutual respect for each other. In a welcome change of pace, instead of the fans, it was the artist herself who has seemingly thrown her hat in the ring as one of the possible names featuring on Am I the Drama?, sparking widespread excitement amongst fans.

Am I the Drama? is set to have 23 songs, and as of today, only three songs - WAP, Up, and Outside - have been confirmed to be a part of the album, which leaves a lot of room for potential collaborations. Am I the Drama? It is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated albums of the year, and the addition of SZA would only heighten that anticipation.

The capture would also prove to be a coup for Cardi B, as SZA has significantly built her standing within the music industry since the early days of their collaboration. She would also bring her own set of fanbase to the potential feature and help catapult the success of Cardi B's sophomore album in the process.

Cardi B has remained active on social media but hasn’t directly addressed the potential features. Apart from SZA, familiar names such as Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, and Bruno Mars are also in the running.
