NLE Choppa's ex, Marissa Da'Nae, has come forward with allegations that the rapper starved their child back when they were 1 year old. Their son is now 2 years old. In an X post on September 15, 2025, she stated her allegations in response to a question by another netizen:
"Yeah trying to take me to court for a child he barely see. A child he had fasting at 1 year old. Saying a child didn’t need to eat 3 times a day. Kids come home starving."
Before that, the singer ranted about being taken to court by NLE Choppa, stating:
"I can’t believe this b**ch is taking me to court about a child he doesn’t even call. lmao I get so angry just thinking bout this shit. Bitch can’t even tell a mf when’s the last time Chozen been to the doctor or even been to a doctors appointment. I tell you what. Chozen’s birthday was a month ago. This b**ch has only called once."
According to Complex's report on September 15, 2025, NLE Choppa and Marissa Da'Nae have been involved in a legal battle since July 2025. The publication apparently obtained court documents, and the battle started when Choppa filed for custody of the child.
NLE Choppa has two children
NLE Choppa has two children. The singer had an older child, aged 5, in 2020. The child was named Clover Brylie Potts. The singer had his second child, named ChoZen Wone Da'Shun, in 2023.
