Park Seo-joon, the South Korean actor known for his roles in films including What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and The Chronicles of Evil, recently posted an Instagram story on his handle in which he welcomed Kim Tae-hyung, also known as BTS' V.
V completed his mandatory military service on June 10, 2025, and Park Seo-joon posted the story to welcome him back. He captioned it:
''King is back.''
V's return from the one-year and six-month-long service was met with adoration and wishes from thrilled fans, netizens, and acquaintances.

Park Seo-joon posted an Instagram story on June 11, 2025, which features a group photo of the Wooga Squad members, consisting of Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Choi Woo-shik, Peakboy, and V in the centre.
The squad wore matching white T-shirts, which had 'welcome' printed as 'Hwanyeonghae' in Korean, and adorably posed for the picture. This group photo is actually a recreation of an earlier group shot taken before V enlisted back in 2023.
The recent picture is a follow-up to the beloved original one, marking a nostalgic and celebratory moment of V’s return. In November 2023, it was announced that V, along with his bandmates Jimin, Jungkook, and RM, had begun the enlistment process for the military service. Now that V is back, fans are thrilled and are anticipating what the K-pop artists have in store for them.
V goes by the name Kim Tae-hyung. He made his debut as a member of the boy band BTS in 2013, and under the band, he has performed three songs, including the 2016 Stigma, the 2018 Singularity, and the 2020 Inner Child. These songs by V were well received by fans and made it to South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart.
V released his solo debut album titled Layover in September 2023, which had some notable tracks, including Love Me Again, Slow Dancing, and Rainy Days.

He also experimented with acting when he appeared in the cooking travel show Jinny's Kitchen in February 2023, alongside Park Seo-joon, Choi, and other members of the Wooga Squad. Other than music and acting, V had also entered into brand endorsements. He was the face of the luxury brand Celine and appeared in various fashion events and campaigns. The other brand he endorsed was Cartier as a Panthère de Cartier icon.
He has also contributed to online shows, fan meet-ups, and Run BTS. Now that V is back from his military service, fans are excited. However, V or his agency has not yet made any announcements regarding his post-discharge schedule.
