Lainey Wilson is officially heading to New Zealand and Australia in February 2026. The run will be her first shows in New Zealand and a return to Australia after a relatively busy 2024 and 2025.

The newly announced tour coincides with the release of Whirlwind (Deluxe). It is a five-song expansion of her 2024 album. Fans will get to experience her music live in arena shows, a festival headline slot. Moreover, two special guests will also be there on every date.

Lainey Wilson's 2026 AU and NZ tour is being presented by Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring. In an official press release, Frontier Touring stated:

"Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring are delighted to welcome back country music powerhouse Lainey Wilson as she brings her WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR down under in February 2026, which also sees the Grammy-award winner make her long-awaited New Zealand debut.Wilson will also be headlining Howlin' Country Festival in Newcastle. She will first head to New Zealand, kicking off the tour with shows in Auckland and Christchurch, before making her anticipated return to Australia for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth."

Lainey Wilson shared the tour announcement via her official Instagram profile. The post read:

"AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND! 🇦🇺🇳🇿 I'm bringing the Whirlwind World Tour down under in 2026 and I want to see you there. Tickets & VIP Packages go on sale to the public Friday 15 Aug. @ 12 pm local, but you can get first access to presale tickets starting Tuesday 12 Aug."

Lainey Wilson won the 2024 Grammy for Best Country Album for Bell Bottom Country and was CMA Entertainer of the Year in 2023. She was the first woman to win that CMA prize in over a decade. This latest tour is being billed as the next leg of the WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR, following the sold-out dates across Europe and a North American leg.

Lainey Wilson played CMC Rocks in Australia in 2024 and sold out arena nights in Sydney and Melbourne that same year. She has also collaborated with Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, and artists outside of country like Post Malone and Jelly Roll.
