Ranking every track on Laura Cox's Trouble Coming

1) The Broken

The Broken sounds more like a song from Avril Lavigne's 2000s era with heavy instrumentals. If you're a lover of the rock genre, this is a must-listen song.

2) Trouble coming

The title track of the album, Trouble Coming, opens with the following lyrics:

"She’s a loner, but she’s wild; she’s got the magic in her eye-the kind of woman you fall in love with in the movies."

According to Laura Cox's Instagram post, this track was

"Inspired by a trip to Scotland last year"

3) A Way Home

The track opens with heavy guitar sounds as Laura Cox eases into the song. Within thirty seconds, Laura Cox picks up the beat, turning it into a party anthem. Fans of Laura Cox can hear her sharp vocals along with heavy guitar instruments towards the end of the track, making it one of the top songs on this album.

4) Rise Together

The song starts with a beat that is repeated throughout the song, with pauses where Laura Cox takes the center stage with her vocals. Within 40 seconds of the song, it takes over with heavy guitar instrumentals perfectly matching her genre.

5) No Need To Try Harder

The album, Trouble Coming, starts with the track No Need To Try Harder, a catchy song that is easy to vibe to. According to the singer's Instagram post, this track:

"marks a turning point in my career, in my life."

6) What Do You Know?

This track is a little different from the other tracks on the album, with the focus on vocals in the beginning and then slowly following up on the heavy instrumentals. Laura Cox's voice is very smooth on this one, making it easy to listen to.

7) Inside the Storm

While it’s a great track to vibe to, the instrumentation and lyrical flow start to feel a bit repetitive over time, ranking it slightly lower on our list.

8) Do I Have Your Attention?

The 3-minute and 9-second track comes with a catchy tune. However, the other better tracks on the albums keep this one slightly lower on the list.

9) Dancing Around The Truth

From the beginning of the song, the tracks create a balance between the instruments and Laura Cox's vocals, making it easy to listen to and enjoy. However, the other stronger songs on the album rank this slightly lower on our list.

10) Strangers Someday

The song starts with the lyrics:

"Take a look around; we're all strangers."

The song slowly builds the pace with heavy instruments and rough vocals. Towards the end of the song, the song focuses more on instruments that slowly fade out.

11) Out of the Blue

This 3-minute and 19-second track is slightly different from the others, with a focus on Laura Cox's crispy vocals and lyrics and less on instruments. If you want to hear a song from the album that has the perfect balance of both, this is the one!
