Lil Wayne 2025 'Tha Carter VI' tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Lil Wayne is all set for a North American tour.

The New Orleans rapper has announced a 34-date summer run to accompany his upcoming album Tha Carter VI. The trek will kick off on June 6, 2025, the same day his new project is slated for release. Tha Carter VI is going to be his first solo release since 2020's Funeral.

The tour has also been named Tha Carter VI Tour. It will feature special guests Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington on all dates. On the other hand, rapper NoCap will appear at select stops.

The Paycom Center show in Oklahoma City will include a reunion performance by the Hot Boys, Lil Wayne's original rap group from his Cash Money Records days.

Lil Wayne took to his official Instagram account to share the trek announcement. He captioned it:

"Just Announced! Tha Carter VI Tour: Built on 20+ years of Carter Classics. Head to lilwayneofficial.com to register for first access to presale tickets."

Notably, Lil Wayne began Tha Carter series back in 2004. The last release was Tha Carter V. It was released in 2018 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Lil Wayne said the album allowed him to experiment more than ever. He explained:

"If there is one thing about this album that is different, it is me approaching it like, 'Man, what would I sound like on something with such and such?'"

Tha Carter VI Tour will begin with an album release concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Friday, June 6, 2025. This show is Lil Wayne's first-ever solo headlining gig at the venue.
