Lollapalooza 2025 Day 2: Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, and more highlights

Lollapalooza 2025, Day 2, was on Friday, August 1, 2025. The four-day music festival held in Grant Park in Chicago took off on July 31, 2025. Olivia Rodrigo closed out Day 2 as the T-Mobile Stage headliner. Her set featured some of her hit tracks, including Vampire and Good 4 U.

She also welcomed the rock band Weezer as the surprise guest band. The nu metal band Korn headlined the Bud Light Stage with their signature nu‑metal intensity. This marked their first appearance at Lollapalooza since 1997, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Day 2 included performances from a mix of genres and rising talent across multiple stages.


Highlights of Lollapalooza 2025 Day 2

The supporting and noble acts during the second day of the Lollapalooza music festival included Ravyn Lenae kicking off the evening livestreams with a soaring voice and standout songs like Love Me Not. Other performers included T‑Pain, who played through a string of hits including Buy U A Drank, Low, and I’m In Luv (Wit A Stripper).

Among other performers were Foster the People, Wallows, Djo, Knock2, Amaarae, Murda Beatz, ISOxo, Bladee, Flipturn, Tape B, The Drae, Gigi Pirez, Wyatt Flores, Bunt Ocean Alley, Del Water Gap, Otoboke Beaver, Kenny Mason, Orla Gartland, Hey, Nothing, Alleycvt, and Isabel LaRosa.

The band Bleachers also performed, and one of the highlights of the festival was when Jack Antonoff, the singer of the band, expressed gratitude and addressed the audience. He said:

''Chicago is our favorite place to play, Chicago people don’t f--- around with live music. I can’t believe we get to play next to Korn. No one could’ve known it would be a match made in heaven. Bleachers people and Korn people. We are one thing.''

The band performed some of their most energetic and hit tracks, including I Am Right on Time, Everybody Lost Somebody, Chinatown, Modern Girl, I Wanna Get Better, and Don’t Take the Money.

Other performers that rocked the Day 2 stages included Hex Cougar, Carol Ades, Caroline Kingsbury, Star Bandz, Midnight Generation, Cassandra Coleman, Winyah, Jane Remover, Almeda, Tanner, Adell, Dogpark, Old Mervs, Jesse Detor, Viperactive, and Mary Droppinz, who delivered stellar sets across multiple stages earlier in the evening with indie, hip‑hop, and electro-pop energy.

Day 3 of the Lollapalooza festival, which will be on August 2, will be headlined by Rüfüs Du Sol on the T-Mobile Stage, and TWICE will take over the Bud Light Stage.
