Mac DeMarco extends tour in 2026: Ticket info, new dates, venues, and more explored

After selling out much of his 2025 tour, Canadian singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco has officially extended his global trek into 2026 with a new batch of tour dates across Asia and North America.

The announcement comes alongside the reveal of his sixth studio album, Guitar, which is officially scheduled to be released on August 22, 2025, via his own Mac's Record Label.

The newly announced tour extension will kick off on February 16, 2026, in Fukuoka, Japan, and wrap up in San Diego, California, on May 23, 2026. Stops of this new 2026 leg include cities across Japan, Hong Kong, and a relatively large stretch through the U.S., including Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, and Austin.

Tickets for all new 2026 shows are set to go on sale Friday, June 27, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. ET via Mac DeMarco's official website, Ticketmaster, and other authorized ticketing platforms.

This extended run will offer fans a chance to hear live renditions of songs from Guitar, a self-produced and self-recorded project that Mac DeMarco described as "a true representation of where I'm at in my life today." The album's first single, Home, was released alongside the announcement. It features a nostalgic music video of Mac DeMarco canoeing near his mother's house in Canada.

In an official press statement, Mac DeMarco shared:

"I think Guitar is as close to a true representation of where I am at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper. I am happy to share this music, and look forward to playing these songs as many places as I'm able."
