Maximo Park 2026 UK tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Maximo Park have officially announced a 2026 UK tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, A Certain Trigger. The record was released in 2005. It is a beloved album from the mid-2000s indie scene, with singles like Apply Some Pressure, Graffiti, and Going Missing.

Two decades later, the band is all set to revisit the album in full. They are also expected to play a setlist of their other hits. This run of shows is scheduled for February 2026. Maximo Park's upcoming trek dates are part of an anniversary celebration that also includes a physical reissue of A Certain Trigger, officially slated for release on October 31, 2025.

The upcoming re-release will be available in multiple formats, including single LP, double gatefold LP, and a three-LP collection.

Maximo Park announced the 2026 UK trek via an official Instagram post, which read:

"TOUR! Next February!!! Let's celebrate 20 years of 'A Certain Trigger'! We will be performing songs from the album & a plethora of our greatest hits. General sale will take place on Fri 29th Aug. If you want to access the pre-sale tickets, make sure you sign up to our mailing list. Pre-sale will take place on Weds 27th Aug at 10 am. Support across all dates comes from @artbrutbandofficial. Link in bio"

Maximo Park frontman Paul Smith described revisiting the album's archives as "like entering a time machine." He explained further in a statement:

"Not many bands make it to a twentieth year together so we are having a big celebration, with a special 20th anniversary tour and by giving a fresh perspective to A Certain Trigger."

Maximo Park was formed in Newcastle in 2000. They became a known name in the British indie scene of the mid-2000s. Their debut album, A Certain Trigger, was produced by Paul Epworth and released on Warp Records. The record earned them a Mercury Prize nomination.
