More on Lil Baby, Young Thug and Qc P's drama

The issue started with the aforementioned leaked conversation of Young Thug, obtained by DJAkademics and shared on their social media. Young Thug calls Qc P a "rat," a street term for an informant, just like "snitch," with the gist of the matter being that Scooter Braun offered $150 million to buy his rights to music, but Lil Baby refused.

However, allegedly, Scooter Braun subsequently spoke with Qc P, who agreed to sell the label Quality Control without informing his artists. For those unaware, Quality Control music label was bought by HYBE America, whose CEO is Scooter Braun.

Qc P was quick to react to this allegation, posting a statement to social media and on his Instagram story, where he refuted the claim of 'snitching.' The statement was originally obtained by DJ Akademiks and released on their official Instagram page and is here quoted as reported by HotNewHipHop in their article on August 30, 2025:

"Imagine some broke a** rats like @thuggerthugger1 and PeeWeeRatScoe trying to run a rat narrative on me and all my n***as that I love running with these h*e a** n***as knowing how these n***as talk about me. Im gone say this for the last time. Im not no street n***a. I'm a tax paying citizen that's running a business and taking care of my family."

Qc P continued:

"All the street n***as is broke, dead [or] in jail. Why do yall continue to glorify this s**t? Streets been dead. Yall n***as gave the city a bad name. And by the way I ain't never been in no court room on no n***a, sat in a interrogation room running n***as names. And I don't speak on the dead so I don't care enough to explain the situation. Yall boys the police. Y'all n***as mad cause yall not me."

In other Lil Baby news, the singer released his fourth studio album, WHAM, on January 3, 2025. The singer has also recently collaborated with Quavo on the track Legends. This was his first collaboration, aside from the features on his album, since his collaboration with Byron Messia and Rvssian on the track Choppa in 2024.
