Mumford & Sons 2025 "Railroad Revival" tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

More than a decade after their last journey on the tracks, Mumford & Sons are once again ready with their 2025 Railroad Revival tour.

The British folk-rock band has officially announced a four-city summer run for August 2025. This tour will revive their 2011 tour that saw the band travel and perform by train. Each stop on the tour is expected to deliver a different show, a new lineup of artists.

In each of the four cities scheduled for the trek — New Orleans, Spartanburg, Richmond, and Burlington, Mumford & Sons will be joined by a rotating cast of musicians. Confirmed artists include Nathaniel Rateliff, Lucius, Trombone Shorty, Madison Cunningham, Chris Thile, Celisse, Ketch Secor, and Leif Vollebekk, with more names expected to be added.

Mumford & Sons shared the tour announcement via their official Instagram page, captioning:

"all aboard. announcing our railroad revival tour with friends. AGORA members get first access to tickets, sign up by 7am PT / 10am ET by may 14th for the presale. presale starts May 15th at 10 am local time"

The original Railroad Revival tour in 2011 had Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Old Crow Medicine Show riding the rails in vintage train cars across the American Southwest. They jammed together between stops, all of which were outdoor performances held at or near train stations.

The tour was documented in the Grammy-winning film Big Easy Express and was well accepted by fans and enthusiasts. A follow-up was planned for 2012 but was ultimately cancelled due to logistical issues, reports suggest.

Tickets for all four new dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans who want early access can take advantage of a couple of presale options:

• Agora fan presale: Members of Mumford & Sons' Agora fan community will get the first chance to buy tickets on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can sign up for the fan club through the band's website.
• Live Nation presale: Also on May 15. Live Nation is offering a presale starting at 12:00 p.m. local time. Use the code FREESTYLE at checkout on Ticketmaster.
