Hammersonic Festival 2026 is set to be held on May 3, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The festival has announced that My Chemical Romance will perform at its upcoming editing as one of the headliners of the festival. The upcoming edition will be the 10th anniversary of the festival, having been first held in 2012 and annually ever since, except for the 2019 -2022 period.

As mentioned above, Hammersonic Festival is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary with its upcoming edition. The CEO of Ravel Entertainment, which runs the festival, stated in a press statement released on the festival website:
"The year 2026 is not just a celebration of Hammersonic's long journey, but a tangible proof of our dominance on the rock stage in our homeland and Asia. Hammersonic will continue to grow, develop, and evolve. We are not just uniting across generations, but creating a new wave."
The upcoming edition is titled The Hammersonic Festival: Decade of Dominion. The festival lineup, aside from My Chemical Romance, has not been announced at the time of writing. The lineup will be announced in the near future, and those interested can check the festival website and socials for the lineup as and when it's announced.
Hammersonic Festival is one of the many events organized by Ravel Entertainment. The company also organised the Soundrenaline festival in Bali, the Wreck it Fest, the Northblast festival, and more.
Hammersonic Festival started and continues to be a rock and music festival. Its first edition was held at the Lapangan D and Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Jakarta. The festival would continue to switch venues in subsequent editions, with editions held at Allianz Eco Park, Ancol Dreamland, and Carnaval Beach.
The festival typically features a mix of local and international acts in its lineup. The headliners generally are from outside Indonesia. Previous editions have seen performances by Suffocation, Cradle of Filth, Bullet For My Valentine, Lamb Of God, Megadeth, and more.
Hammersonic Festival has previously featured audiences as big as 140,000 people in 2023. This puts the festival on par with other major festivals such as Djarkata Warehouse Project, which has an attendance capacity of more than 90,000 people, as well as Java Jazz Festival, fellow Ravel Entertainment organized festival Soundrenaline, and Ultra Bali.

The upcoming Hammersonic Festival 2026 performance by My Chemical Romance will be part of their South East Asia tour that year. The tour will also include shows in Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, and the Philippines.
The festival will be the band's last performance on that tour schedule. The Southeast Asia tour itself will be preceded by their South America tour in January and February of 2026.
