Rapper Cardi B seems to have a surprise for her fans. On June 22, 2025, the singer posted a cryptic video on her Instagram, writing that she had an announcement to make. In the video, she wore a black outfit and was surrounded by some crows. She narrates a monologue, saying:

“7 years and the time has come. 7 years of love, life and loss. 7 years I gave them grace but now, I give them hell. I learned power is not giving, is taking. I am shedding feathers and no more tears. I am not back. I am beyond."

She went on:

“I am not your villain. I am your karma. The time is here. The time is now. I got an announcement to make.”

Although it’s not explicit what the announcement would be about, many speculate that it could be the launch of a new album amidst Cardi B's ongoing marital drama with husband Offset. Social media users seemed excited about the upcoming announcement. Here’s what they wrote:

What did Cardi B say about her second album?

In Outside, Cardi B seemingly criticized men, saying they were untrustworthy and too quick to engage in casual relationships. She described them as useless and disrespectful, and even suggested they should confront their mothers about how they were raised.

While announcing the release of the single, she took to her Instagram Stories previously and wrote:

“If y’all wouldn’t have asked for it, I wouldn’t have put it out. I made this song a few months ago when I was very, very angry. I had to change some bars because I was angry, honey.”

Earlier in the year, Cardi B shared some details about her second album, saying she had collaborated with both familiar and new artists. She mentioned that the songs had a strong vibe and expressed full confidence in the project, adding that it felt unique compared to other music currently available.

According to HipHopDX, the singer also made references to her rumored boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. The lyrics had this verse:

“Favorite player from your favorite team, he in my DM, uh / I’m so small and tiny, he so big and tall.”

Speaking of her relationship with Offset, Cardi B had previously said she had been emotionally and physically exhausted during that time. She was struggling with her mental health, losing her appetite, and constantly dealing with headaches.

Despite giving him multiple chances, things kept getting worse, and she believed that if she had stayed in the relationship any longer, it could have pushed her to a dangerous breaking point.
