Cardi B reveals the name of her third child with Offset, claims the rapper has only seen their baby 'five times'

Rapper Cardi B, during her recent X Spaces audio conversation, shared that her estranged husband, Offset, has only seen their newborn baby “five times.” On May 30, while revealing that the estranged couple had named their baby daughter Blossom, Cardi B shared,

“There is not one day that he's not allowed to see my kids. He stood up my kids three times. He has seen Blossom only like five times…You talk to the kids almost every single day. I allow you to talk to the kids every single day. If I allow you talk to the kids, why would I not allow you to see the kids?…I want my daughter to feel the love of her dad.”

The rapper’s revelation of her youngest daughter’s name comes months after she took to Instagram to announce her daughter’s birth. In a post on September 12 last year, Cardi revealed that she had given birth to her second daughter and third child with Offset. The caption of the Instagram post, while revealing the date of the newborn’s birth, read:

“The prettiest lil thing 9/7/24”

About Cardi B’s third pregnancy amid her divorce from Offset

On July 31, 2024, Page Six exclusively reported that Cardi B had filed for divorce from Offset, initiating the process of ending their six-year-long marriage. At the time Cardi filed for divorce, the mother of two had not made it public that she was expecting her third child.

A day later, on August 1, Cardi took to Instagram to reveal that she was pregnant. Alongside photographs of herself visibly pregnant, Cardi wrote a caption that addressed her children, including the baby that she was carrying in her womb at the time. Cardi wrote,

“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”

In her recent X Spaces audio, Cardi B opened up about her struggles over the last few months. The mother of three spoke about the financial pressures of raising the three children on her own. Addressing her estranged husband, Offset, Cardi said,

“Just like you left me the last year, you have left me with the kid’s bill.”

Further, Cardi addressed her fans and stated,

“Y'all want to know what's the kids bills? Start adding, y’all need to start adding right now, right.”

Going on to recount her children’s expenses, Cardi said,

“So my kids got their own driver, they picked them up from school they drop them off and they take them to gymnastics and to Wavy boxing classes. My, the kids driver is on a retainer for $10,000 a month. So that's $10,000 a month just on a driver for my kids. All right, cool.”

Continuing, Cardi addressed Offset and said,

“Kulture’s school this year, you didn't pay for it. That’s $45,000. Wave’s school a year is 35,000, which you didn't help me pay for it this year, at all. My cousin babysits Wave and Kulture, she gets paid $3,000 a week. The nanny was $700 a day, but because she's only staying in the daytime, $500.”

Cardi went on to similarly recount many of her children’s expenses that Offset hadn’t helped her with.

As per Billboard, Cardi B has also made a change in her divorce filing to emphasize that she did not want child support from her estranged husband as she wanted to end all remnants of their marriage.
