Beyoncé's concert at Soldier Field, Chicago, was reportedly delayed due to weather conditions. The Single Ladies singer is currently on her Cowboy Carter Tour and was scheduled to perform at Soldier Field at 7 PM on May 15, 2025. However, conditions became a hurdle as a "severe weather threat" was announced by Chicago's Office of Emergency Management and Communications.

According to news outlets, the show was not slated to begin before 9 PM. According to CBS News, attendees were guided to take shelter and were allowed to move freely in the stadium. The show started at 10:15 PM, after approximately another hour.

Fans were in attendance at Beyoncé's concert in Soldier Fields, when it was announced by officials that Chicago is going to be hit by thunderstorms. At approximately 8 PM, attendees were requested to take shelter, per CBS. Since the gates to the show had been opened by 5 PM, many fans had already reached the location without being aware of the postponement.

CBS News talked to fans at the field, who revealed their disappointment that they were not informed about the postponement. Many noted that they became aware through conversations at the event. However, many had no problems waiting to see Beyoncé in performance. According to USA Today, a message was constantly displayed on the screens stating,

"Thank you for your patience during this time. We are setting the show and getting the floor ready to receive guests. Looking forward to a great show!"

At 10:15 PM on May 15, 2025, Beyoncé took to the stage and expressed gratitude towards her fans. She noted,

"I'm so happy to be on the stage seeing all of your beautiful faces."

She added,

"Thank you for all your love even throughout the storm. Y'all are here. I am here, and we're going to have a good ol' time."

While Chicago's weather conditions appeared to disrupt the show schedule, fans were not let go without the performance. Beyoncé took to the stage and expressed gratitude towards her fans for waiting throughout the storm. The singer is scheduled to perform at Soldier Field for three nights and will take to the stage on May 17 and May 18.
