The first five shows of Beyoncé’s 2025 Cowboy Carter Tour, all held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, reportedly grossed a revenue of $55.7 million.
With 217,000 tickets sold across these performances, the tour broke a major record. It is now the biggest single-venue event ever reported by a female artist in Billboard Boxscore history.
The previous record-holders were U2’s Sphere residency in Vegas, Harry Styles’ run at Madison Square Garden, and Take That’s shows at Wembley. However, Beyoncé’s five-night show in L.A. now sits among these historic milestones.
Now this has set the internet abuzz. One fan straight up declared:
"OH TAYLOR, GET OFF THE FLOOR"
Fan reactions to Beyoncé's $55 million tour debut at SoFi Stadium
Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to report:
"Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour debuts with a gross of $55 million from its first five dates at SoFi Stadium. It is the biggest reported single-venue engagement in Boxscore history by a woman, according to Billboard."
Fans were notably quick to jump into the comment section of the X post as they shared their excitement over the latest record-breaking achievement of Beyoncé. Below is what some of them had to say:
"New York will end this record", predicted a netizen.
"I thought they said nobody was attending?", asked another.
"The most iconic touring act ever", lauded a third.
"Breaking records by charging people’s rent for a seat? Genius", joked a fourth.
Others also chimed in:
"Beyoncé made $55M at one venue in 5 nights… like okay mother we get it", commented a fan.
"This is how you become a mega popstar the right way. Beyoncé the respect you deserve is larger than life itself. God bless you", penned another.
"$55M and just getting started! Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour is a masterclass in star power. Who’s grabbing tickets for the next leg? #Beyhive", question a third.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour began on Monday, April 28, 2025, with four follow-up shows on May 1, 4, 7, and 9, 2025. Each night, around 43,000 fans packed into SoFi Stadium to witness her newest era. There was an average gross of $11.1 million per night.
With eight total performances at SoFi Stadium, including three during her Renaissance World Tour in 2023, Beyoncé now holds the record for the most shows played by any artist at the venue since it opened earlier this decade.
According to Billboard projections, the complete tour could gross more than $300 million. If that happens, it will surpass all of Beyoncé’s previous tours except 2023’s Renaissance World Tour, which spanned 56 dates compared to Cowboy Carter’s currently scheduled 32.
If these projections hold, Beyoncé’s career Boxscore total will exceed $1.4 billion, with nearly 12 million tickets sold.
