BTS' Jungkook recently gained fan attention after he crossed over 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify soon after his military release on June 11, 2025. The BTS maknae gained over +500K listeners on the streaming platform since his release.

The SEVEN vocalist recently completed his training along with his fellow singer, Jimin. They started their terms in the South Korean military in December 2023. So far in his solo career, BTS' Jungkook has launched only one album, named GOLDEN, which earned him global acclaim.


Fans of BTS' Jungkook appreciated him as he exceeded 17 million listeners

Several fans inundated social media with their praises for Golden maknae. While some fans stressed the impact and power of the idol, others congratulated him for the achievement.

“Jungkook has officially hit 17 million monthly listeners again—and he hasn’t even had a comeback since November 2023. The power that man holds,” a fan said.

Some fans defined BTS' Jungkook as the king of K-pop, while others said that he paved the way. Another follower stated that Jk well deserved these massive monthly listeners.

BTS' Jungkook made a record with 9 billion Spotify streams

On June 22, 2025, the South Korean media site Star News Korea revealed that BTS' Jungkook's track SEVEN obtained an 'ALL-KILL' due to its massive acclaim and success among supporters. The BTS maknae's solo music set a record by topping numerous charts for 100 weeks, including Spotify, Billboard, and MelOn.

Moreover, on June 16, @WORLDMUSICAWARDS confirmed that Jeon Jungkook emerged as the first and only K-Pop solo act to reach 9 billion Spotify streams. Jk also became the fastest K-pop act to accomplish this feat, outperforming his own group.

Jk reportedly took the top spot after 1,218 days, followed by BTS in 2,040 days. BLACKPINK and TWICE take third and fourth place, with 2,346 and 2,397 days, respectively.

BTS' Jungkook has accomplished several major milestones with his single solo album, GOLDEN. His album released LP on November 3, 2023, shortly before leaving for his military training.

The album is a full-length compilation of eleven songs with some important collabs, including Closer to You (feat. Major Lazer), Seven (feat. Latto) Explicit Version, Yes or No, Hate You, Somebody, Please Don't Change (feat. DJ Snake), Standing Next To You, Too Sad to Dance, Shot Glass of Tears, Seven (ft. Latto) Clean Version, and 3D (ft. Jack Harlow).
