Jeon Jungkook made news with another record-breaking accomplishment for his independent hit SEVEN soon after his military return. Recently, the maknae's song created a record by retaining its spot on the global Spotify chart for 700 days. Additionally, SEVEN became the very first composition in history to accomplish this feat by an Asian artist.

GOLDEN, Jeon Jungkook's debut solo album, was released on November 3, 2023. Before releasing his full-length album, the K-pop artist had dropped his pre-album singles 3D and SEVEN. Jack Harlow was featured in the former, while American rapper Latto collaborated on the latter. On July 14, 2023, "SEVEN" was released, which quickly became a global hit. Here are all of the GOLDEN songs:

  • Closer to You (feat. Major Lazer)
  • Seven (feat. Latto) Explicit Version
  • Yes or No
  • Please Don't Change (feat. DJ Snake)
  • Hate You
  • Somebody
  • Standing Next To You
  • Too Sad to Dance

  • Seven (ft. Latto) Clean Version
  • 3D (ft. Jack Harlow)

On June 16, 2025, @WORLDMUSICAWARDS reported that the "Hate You" helped Jungkook emerge as the first and only K-pop solo singer to reach 9 billion Spotify streams. He also became the fastest K-pop act to accomplish this feat, outperforming his own group, BTS.

Jungkook reportedly took the top spot after 1,218 days, followed by BTS in 2,040 days. BLACKPINK and TWICE ranked second and third, achieving the same in 2,346 and 2,397 days, respectively.
