BTS' Taehyung recently made headlines with his solo track Slow Dancing. The K-pop idol’s solo song officially earned gold certification in New Zealand. With the new recognition, Slow Dancing became BTS’ Taehyung’s second track to achieve this certification, following the popularity of Love Me Again.

Slow Dancing belongs to the idol’s solo album, Layover, which came out on September 8, 2023. Fans of BTS' Taehyung were happy to see his solo track’s success; therefore, they inundated the internet with their admiration for the singer. One of them on X wrote:

“TAEHYUNG DESERVES A SOLO CONCERT. BORAHAE TAEHYUNG. CONGRATULATIONS TAEHYUNG”

Fans overjoyed as BTS' Taehyung earns New Zealand’s gold certification for solo track Slow Dancing

While some fans said that V deserves a solo concert in New Zealand, others dubbed his feat amazing.

Many fans congratulated V, while others emphasized how he got certified with a non-English track and even without any remixes or versions of Slow Dancing. Another fan said the idol’s discography is like calmness in chaos.

BTS' Taehyung’s Layover featured six songs

Kim Taehyung’s Layover came out on September 8, 2023. The boy band's company, BIGHIT, wrote about the album on their website:

“V's solo album "Layover" will be released on Sep 8. Layover consists of six tracks in total - five tracks and a bonus track. To fully appreciate the album's flow, we recommend listening to it in sequence from start to finish,” BIGHIT wrote on website.
