EXO’s Kai struggles to pick a favorite KAION tour song, chooses “Amnesia” over this 'Rover' track

Kai has been asked to choose his favorite track from his KAION tour, and unsurprisingly, it isn't Peachy.

In a 2-minute Billboard clip, the EXO main dancer sits on a brown velvet couch, struggling to answer the "This or That" questions posed by the interviewer.

When asked which he would choose between "Adult Swim" and "Wait on Me," the K-pop star laughed and slapped his knees. After a quick moment of pondering, he ultimately chose the latter. He explained:

"I mean, 'Wait on Me' is the lead track, so I'll go with 'Wait on Me'."

But the challenge was just getting started. The second question came, "Wait on Me" or "Peaches," and the singer thought harder, but chose the first one.

Still, he followed up his decision with an explanation.

"This time, for KAION, I perform the new version that we've reworked. And I really love that version so much that it actually beat 'Wait on Me' for me."

Unexpectedly, the EXO superstar didn't struggle with choosing between "Peaches" and "Ride or Die." As soon as the question was asked, he lifted his index finger and uttered:

"Peaches!"

However, the difficulty returned with further queries; each seemed to be more challenging than the previous ones.

At one point in the clip, the "Nothing on Me" hitmaker was asked to select between "Peaches" and "Confession," then "Peaches" and "Bomba," and the latter won.

"Oh my god, 'Bomba'! Because one of the biggest fun factors in this concert is the blast in the middle of 'Bomba'. Right before KAION hits the climax, that exploding moment in the middle. And the fact that 'Bomba' is just such a good song."

He went on:

"The crowd goes wild, and I also get super hyped that I can pour out all my energy."

"Bomba" continued to win against the Korean star's other popular solo tracks, "Reason," "Vanilla," and "Rover."

As the This or That interview segment progressed, the undefeated "Bomba" finally found its match.

In the penultimate question, the Love Shot star was asked to choose between "Bomba" and "Amnesia," and the K-pop idol responded with laughter.

"'Amnesia' isn't on KAION! But during this leg of the tour so far, I realized that fans here really love 'Amnesia'. So with that in mind, I'll choose 'Amnesia'."

The interviewer posed the last question, and with no fanfare, the idol selected "Blue."

"It's also the encore song. When I sing it, it really feels like the show is coming to an end. It's very emotional and, like, I don't want to leave, so I pour all those feelings into 'Blue'."

He concluded:

"And I think that's the charm, how KAION closes out so clean, so beautifully."
