BTS' Taehyung gained attention recently after he joined his bandmates Jimin and Jungkook as the only K-Pop solo artists with multiple songs charting for 200 days on the Global Spotify Daily chart.

Kim Taehyung, aka V, reached this milestone with his single hit, which came out on November 29, 2024. V made this track in collaboration with another K-pop artist, Park Hyo-shin. On June 23, 2025, X handle of @WOLRDMUSICAWARDS reported about V’s new achievement. Fans celebrated BTS' Taehyung’s new feat by showering their on social media.

Many followers inundated the internet with their love and praises V. As a result, fans congratulated him and supported his creative works.

Kim Taehyung was discharged from military on June 10

The Slow Dancing crooner and Kim Namjoon began their military service in December 2023, about roughly the same time as Jungkook and Jimin did. Following an 18-month training period, the members were released from their duties in June 2025.

While Taehyung and Namjoon were released on June 10, Jungkook and Jimin became free on June 11.

In other developments, BTS' Taehyung has received recognition for his solo track, Winter Ahead. The BTS member was named the May MVP of the K-pop Top 10 on K-star Chart. Kim Taehyung's newest victory represents the fifth triumph with a physical trophy. Winter Ahead, a popular jazz ballad, made headlines by surpassing Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E to climb to the 20th most-streamed Jazz song in Spotify records.
