Gareth 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Irish country singer and songwriter Gareth has officially announced his debut Australian tour. He is all set to perform there in March 2026. The tour consists of four intimate shows. These shows come ahead of the release of his self-titled debut album.

Gareth began performing publicly at 14 in small bars and local festivals. He got notable attention after his cover of Noah Kahan's "Stick Season" went viral. It racked up 25 million views and over 10 million Spotify streams.

Gareth signed his first publishing deal with BMG and released his EP Changing Seasons. He followed it up with Steal Your Thunder in 2025. The five-track EP included fan favorites like Answered Prayer, Quiet In This House, and Last Thing I Do.

Gareth announced the upcoming AU tour via an official Instagram post, captioning:

"AUSTRALIAAAAAA!!!🇦🇺 stoked to announce I am going on tour this March, super excited to visit these cities! Artist presale starts 15/10 at 9 am AEDT & General sale starts 17/10! Sign up with the link in my bio for access to the presale this Wednesday :)"

Speaking about his Answered Prayer, Gareth shared in a statement:

"This song was a funny one. I went into the studio in Nashville, and I was with Zach Crowell, my producer, who does a lot of Jelly Roll stuff, and a guy called Blake Pendergrass, and they told me that they had this chorus of a song already written, and it was AI Jelly Roll's voice, because they originally thought it would be a Jelly Roll song. We listened to it back, and it was Jelly's voice - it was a weird experience, but it was really good."

He also stated:

"I was like, ‘Yeah, I like this song. Can we finish this song together?’ A guy called Hunter Phelps also helped write the chorus, but he wasn't there that day. Me, Blake and Zach finished off the song. I think it's one of those songs that just keeps getting bigger and bigger as it goes on. It starts off very slow, very small, and it gets bigger."
