On July 14, 2025, BTS' Jungkook finally did an unexpected solo Weverse livestream for his fans. The BTS maknae’s solo live was long overdue since his military release on June 11, 2025. Jungkook was released alongside bandmate Jimin as they had joined their training together. Therefore, Jungkook’s latest solo Weverse live drew a massive number of fans from across the globe.

Jungkook's livestream garnered over 10.9 million total viewers, establishing a new record for 2025. In 2024, the idol established a record for the highest number of concurrent viewers during an individual live broadcast on Weverse, surpassing 20.2 million people.
