On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the multi-hyphenate confirmed his show in Shanghai, China, via his social media accounts. This performance became Kanye's inaugural appearance in Shanghai since his 2008 Glow in the Dark tour. Earlier, West performed at the Hongkou Football Stadium in Shanghai.
