"I want you to die”: Cardi B thrashes Offset in latest rant over spousal support scandal

Cardi B and Kiari Kendrell Cephus, aka Offset’s separation seems to have taken another turn. As per reports, the Clout singer has filed for spousal support in an amended filing. As per an exclusive report by TMZ, he did not mention the exact amount he sought from the Bodak Yellow singer.

Meanwhile, Cardi went live on X spaces on May 30, 2025, where she seemingly vented out about her former husband. She reacted angrily after hearing that someone claimed she was asking for everything in their divorce.

She believed it was Cephus behind the comments, not just his team, and she strongly criticized him for what she saw as a weak and dishonest move. Cardi B added:

“Word to my mother. I want you to die, but I want you to die f**king slow, ni**a. When you die, ni**a, I want you to die slow in the bed. And when you die, ni**a, you gotta think of me.”

The singer mentioned that the updated divorce filing allegedly claimed she didn’t request child support because she wanted to end the marriage. She also claimed that he didn’t spend time with her kids. While mentioning that Offset barely saw his kids, Cardi went on:

“There is not one day he's not allowed to see my kids, okay? He stood up my kids three times.”

Cardi B said she had been trying to protect Offset’s image and called him out for trying to make her look bad. She pointed out that he spoke to their children nearly every day because she allowed it, and questioned why she wouldn’t let him see them if she already let him stay in touch with them regularly.

What did Cardi B say about Offset and his mother?

TMZ noted that even though Offset filed an updated divorce, other clauses remained the same, like the joint custody of the children. It also mentioned that the kids will stay at Cardi’s place.

Earlier in January 2025, Cardi B accused Offset and his mother of taking advantage of her financially and claimed he had only called their baby for the first time that year. She also criticized him for not getting any Christmas gifts for their children, while buying presents for his other kids.

She believed he did it intentionally to upset her, even though they were on good terms at the time, despite not being romantically involved. Offset had also made several accusations against his wife in the past. Responding to those through X, Cardi B said:

“So dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about d***?? You sound like a dummy.. trying to be fake nice after you did what you wanted from the beginning trying to push a narrative to these people.”

Referring to the divorce papers back then, she went on:

“F**k off and sign the papers TODAY.”

Cardi B also criticized her ex, calling him a negative presence in people’s lives. She said she strongly disliked him and wished someone else would take him off her hands.

She also expressed anger toward his family and friends for not holding him accountable, which she believed was why he continued to behave badly.
