Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint are at it again. Nearly a decade and a half after their first onscreen collaboration, the duo is bringing back their signature redheaded mischief.

In a teaser posted August 4, Sheeran revealed that the Harry Potter actor is reprising his fan-favorite role from the 2011 “Lego House” music video. This time, the new visual is for the singer’s upcoming single, “A Little More,” dropping Thursday.

Sheeran wrote on Instagram:

“14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully rupert was up for it. It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song.”

The short clip shows Grint stepping out of prison, seemingly after a long sentence tied to the chaotic antics of his "Lego House" character, an obsessive fan who impersonates Sheeran and sneaks into a concert venue.

As Grint walks, scenes from the original video flash across the screen like a fever dream.

The new track is part of Sheeran’s forthcoming album Play, expected to arrive this September. He teased that “A Little More” might just become “a lot of people’s fav song” on the album.

Fans thrilled as Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint announce a reunion

Following the announcement, fans took to social media to express their excitement about the forthcoming Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint collaboration.

“It’s been 14 years and Rupert Grint still looks more like Ed Sheeran than Ed does,” an X (Twitter) user quipped.
“No one expected it but everyone wanted this,” another added.
“Eds newly found love of side quests with Rupert are killing me,” one fan commented.
“Ed trying to heal something in me that he didn’t break,” an internet user said.
“The butterfly effect is crazy because what do you mean I literally discovered Ed Sheeran all those years ago simply because I watched a clip of Rupert Grant on LeakyCauldren . net when he dropped his single Lego House in the UK,” an online user shared.
“Can confirm that this year is heavy on 2011 nostalgia,” one wrote.

Meanwhile, other comments include “historic,” “oh my god,” “can’t wait,” and more.

Sheeran and Grint’s creative rapport has long been a source of fan delight. Their red-haired resemblance has fueled years of jokes, including a now-classic MTV comedy sketch where Grint pokes fun at their likeness by claiming Sheeran isn’t even real.

“After Potter, all I wanted to do was stretch myself, create some real magic, so I created a character. He’d have the voice of an angel, impossibly wispy facial hair. So I bought a guitar and a bunch of flannel, and I called him Ed — Ed Sheeran.”
