BTS' Taehyung’s independent track Winter Ahead recently made headlines after it surpassed Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E to become the 20th most streamed Jazz song in Spotify history. The BTS idol made Winter Ahead in collaboration with musician Park Hyo-shin, and the song debuted on November 29, 2024.

Fans of V were impressed with his latest milestone, and his followers swamped the internet with their admiration for their idol and his single. One X user said:

Several fans reacted to V’s new achievement for his jazz song. While many lauded him as jazz king, others felt Winter Ahead would be the jazz hit with 1 billion streams. A fan called it a big achievement while other followers of Tae claimed that no one else can do it like him.

“Congrats king. Let's gain more.. to the fastest 1B jazz song,” a fan wrote.

“Wow!!! This is BIG,” a fan expressed.

“I challenge anyone to do it with a jazz song other than Tae,” another admirer said.

BTS' Taehyung gears up for military discharge in June 2025

The Slow Dancing vocalist was enlisted in South Korean military service in December 2023. He joined his duty along with his bandmate Kim Namjoon, aka RM. V is getting ready for his military release next month after completing his obligatory service.

Besides V, other members of the boy band, notably Jungkook, SUGA, and Jimin are also set for their military discharge in June. The completion of their individual services will lead to much anticipated BTS reunion.
