Boy Band BTS' Jin made a new record recently for his solo albums. The Running Wild vocalist emerged as the Korean male soloist with the most albums certified by The Recording Industry Association of Japan, aka RIAJ.

So far, the Jin has had three musical works as part of his solo career, namely The Astronaut, ECHO, and HAPPY. While the first two have received Gold certifications, the last one was honored with Platinum by RIAJ.

Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, also became the first Korean solo artist to earn RIAJ certifications for 3 Korean-language albums.

"The Astronaut" solo single came out in October 2022. Following his military release in June last year, HAPPY released in November 2024. ECHO is his latest work that debuted on May 16, 2025.

Fans of BTS' Jin were ecstatic about his latest achievement and blew up the internet with appreciation. One of the posts on X mentioned:

“My man, my king reigns supreme in Jin Land. So proud of him! CONGRATULATIONS JIN JIN DOMINATION IN JAPAN”

Fans are excited as all of BTS' Jin’s three solo projects have secured RIAJ certifications

Many fans congratulated Kim Seokjin for reaching this milestone. While some questioned why Jin isn’t getting enough attention, others lauded him as a history maker and organic king.

Some claimed that Japan is BTS' Jin’s true homeland, while others asserted his latest achievement is a result of the idol’s hard work and dedication. Another fan seemed proud of Seokjin’s new feat.

BTS' Jin is getting ready for his debut solo tour RUNSEOKJIN_ep.TOUR

On April 17, Jin unveiled his first solo tour, RUNSEOKJIN_ep.TOUR. There will be two shows at nine venues worldwide on the trip. Here is the list of tour dates and venues:

In related news, Seokjin recently garnered attention after tickets for his forthcoming show in Osaka's Kyocera Dome sold out within 24 hours. According to the Twitter handle @TheePopCore, scheduled for July 12 and 13, the event is expected to attract approximately 110,000 attendees. This also demonstrated BTS' Jin's considerable popularity in Japan.
