Reports have surfaced recently claiming Justin Bieber's alleged involvement in cult-like activities. The allegations were reportedly put forth by Bieber's one-time best friend, Ryan Good, who was also the best man at his wedding. Ryan has pinned the blame for Justin's increasingly erratic behaviour and troubles on his Churchome pastor, Judah Smith, as he painted a concerning picture of the reasons for Bieber's isolation from the community and friends.

Justin Bieber has been a part of the LA-based church since 2010, and Ryan Good has raised doubts about the church reportedly exhibiting cult-like characteristics. It was because he perceived the church as displaying cult characteristics that he reportedly exited the church, which even led to the relationship between him and Justin Bieber getting strained over the years. Ryan's exit was reportedly not seen in good light by Bieber, which led him to cut Ryan off from his life.

Even as the two haven't talked to each other in over a year, Good has laid the blame squarely at Judah Smith, whom he castigates for his growing influence on Justin's life.

Smith, while addressing the churchgoers, laughed off the allegations in a recent Instagram post in which he said:

“Well, this was a first for me. I got out of my car and was immediately surrounded by paparazzi... All of a sudden this nice lady with her camera turned to me and said: ‘So is this a cult or not?’ I was like: ‘Oh my word, I wasn’t expecting that question. So guys, if you could bring the snakes out... We’ve got some blood... "

He then went on to add:

“If we’re a cult, we’re the worst cult in the history of all cults. We meet once a month, guys!”

What prompted the allegations against Justin Bieber?

Amid Justin Bieber's confrontations with his former close friends, social media is ablaze with fans debating the authenticity of Ryan Good's claims. The two had been friends for a long time, but things got a tad heated when he had reportedly added Judah Smith as a board member at Drew House, of which Ryan Good is the co-founder.

Justin Bieber has since exited Drew House, and his falling out with Ryan has made fans worry as well. According to a report by TMZ, it is claimed that Bieber has more frequently engaged in discussions with colleagues over their beliefs regarding faith and has sometimes even been confrontational with them.

One particularly concerning incident reportedly involved Scooter Braun, who was also a key figure in lifting Bieber into stardom. Though the details remain disputed, rumors persist that his discussion with Braun regarding religion strained their business connection. This adds to a long list of friends and associates who have sounded the alarm on Justin Bieber's mental health, including Poo Bear.

With Bieber reportedly encountering a host of financial and mental issues in recent times, it remains to be seen how he will deal with the recent allegations leveled by his former confidants.
