Justin Bieber has firmly denied being a victim of Diddy amid the ongoing trial of the hip-hop icon on serious charges, including s*x trafficking and racketeering.

Bieber's representatives have clarified that he was never s*xually or otherwise abused by Diddy, according to a report in TMZ. They said in a statement,

“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”

The report further added that Bieber, who was 15 years old at that time, was close to Diddy’s sons – Quincy and Justin Combs.

An old video from 2009, which resurfaced in 2024, shows Justin and Diddy outside his house standing by a car, where Diddy tells him that when he turns 16, he will let him "rock this car." Diddy continues to say, it's a "15-year-old's dream” and

“For the next 48 hours, he's with me and we're gonna go buck full crazy."

TMZ reported that, according to their sources, Bieber’s past public appearances with the rapper were all “performative” and not indicative of any abuse. Combs has denied all allegations, and if convicted, could spend the rest of his life in prison, reported Metro.

The recent news has brought attention to Diddy’s relationship with Justin Bieber.

How Justin Bieber and Diddy became friends?

Justin Bieber and Sean "Diddy" Combs became connected through the music industry, and also due to their mutual ties with Usher. According to a report in Marie Claire, he was discovered by Scooter Braun at the age of 14. He then signed a deal with RBMG Records, a label company founded by Usher and that was how he connected with Diddy.

Diddy played a significant part in his life throughout his career as they went on to celebrate birthdays, events which also included “naked parties,” according to an old episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians from 2014, where Khloe recounts attending one of the parties.

In September 2023, the two released a joint track, titled Moments for Diddy’s album, The Love Album: Off The Grid, per a report in The List. During that time Bieber praised the rapper in his Instagram story, revealing that he previously rejected his first music pitch before asking him to collaborate with him on his latest album. He wrote,

"Fast forward to a few years ago, Puff asked if I would freestyle something for his upcoming love album. Wild full circle moment, love you @diddy"

Reports stated that multiple videos of Bieber’s interaction with Diddy have circulated online. One of which shows Diddy shaking hands with the Baby singer, as he asks him,

“Starting to act different, huh? You ain’t been calling me and hanging out the way we used to hang out.”

Although he might have established cordial ties with Diddy in the past but now he has been "advised to stay as far away as possible" from Diddy, given his ongoing case. A February 2025 report in The Mirror US indicated that he has unfollowed Diddy and other celebrities on Instagram. So far, there has been no word from Bieber on allegations and charges laid against him.
