Kelly Clarkson recalled writing her "quickest" song

In the Ask Kelly Anything segment, a woman named Jennifer asked the host,
"My question is, and I am dying to know, what is the fastest song you ever wrote?"
Kelly responded to her question in a heartbeat, sharing,
"Ummm... A Christmas song. It was Underneath the Tree. I was working with Greg Kurstin in the studio, which he did Stronger. We have done a lot of songs together, but he kind of sent me home with a little piano thing, and we had kind of started, not the idea of it, but just kind of the wall of sound for Christmas. I think it's a really cool sound at Christmas time. It feels nostalgic. So we kind of discussed at."
Recalling how she wrote the song faster than ever, she further continued,
"I ordered sushi and when it arrived I had written it. I think because I really love Christmas I write them really quickly for Christmas, because they feel good, because you can be a little cheesy, you know? You don’t have to worry about being cool, which honestly that’s not a concern generally ever because I’m not."
Praising the fan for asking "a good question," the Because Of You singer added,
"They don't all come out like that, though. Usually, it takes forever. But that one was quick."
