BTS' Jungkook just marked the second anniversary of his sensational solo track, SEVEN, on July 14. Just in time, the song created another new record - this time in Japan.
The BTS maknae's track emerged as the most-streamed track by any K-pop solo artist in Japan. BTS' Jungkook's song achieved the milestone with over 340 million streams. The song was originally dropped in 2023 as part of JK’s inaugural solo album GOLDEN.
The idol’s fans were happy to witness the new milestone achieved by his track. As a result, they inundated social media with their appreciation for the singer and his song. One of them on X commented:

Many other fans gave their mixed reactions to another major milestone of Jungkook and his song. While some claimed that BTS' Jungkook’s solo song made the most successful debut in history, others said SEVEN is unstoppable. Another fan defined the song as an organic hit.

On July 14, the BTS member stunned his followers with an unplanned solo livestream on the South Korean social media app Weverse. His most recent live meet was his first after being discharged from the military on June 11.
Jungkook’s SEVEN was dropped two years back on July 14, 2023. Since the track had been out for two years, his fans insisted that the idol perform the track live.
“Oh, you guys actually want to hear my songs. Right, it’s Seven’s anniversary. Is there something like ‘Seven’ acoustic version? Slow! Oh, this is it! I'll sing along to it” Jungkook said.
Besides SEVEN, the idol sang many other songs during live - 40 in total. The livestream also drew over 10.9 million real-time viewers.
