On June 21, 2025, BTS' Jimin received a ‘Hallyu Special Award’, also referred to as the ‘Korean Wave Award’, at the 34th Seoul Music Awards. The BTS idol’s latest win came shortly after his military discharge on June 11, 2025.
The latest achievement reportedly highlights the excellence of the artist’s music and global popularity. Admirers of Jimin were thrilled with his latest win. As a result, his followers swamped social media with praises for the Smeraldo Garden maker. One user on X commented:

Several more fans reacted to BTS' Jimin's prestigious honor. While some referred to him as 'Kingmin', others argued that the singer is the most deserving.

BTS' Jimin dropped two albums as part of his solo career
Park Jimin garnered massive streams with his solo music. Jimin has released two solo albums so far, FACE and MUSE. The former was released on March 24, 2023, while the latter is a pre-recorded album released on July 19, 2024.
The singer joined the military in December 2023, and while serving his service, MUSE came out. The album has a total of six tracks, namely Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, WHO, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, Slow Dance, Be Mine, and Closer Than This.
The BTS member’s single WHO from his second solo album track MUSE was honored with the ‘K-pop Song Of The Year’ at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in April this year.
Besides, Jimin was also nominated for the American Music Awards 2025 under the ‘Favorite K-pop Artist’ category.
In addition to Jimin, his bandmate Kim Namjoon, aka RM, has been honored under the ‘Best R&B/Hip Hop’ category at the 34th Seoul Music Awards.
