Michael Shannon & Jason Narducy 2026 'Lifes Rich Pageant' tour: Tickets, dates, venues, and more explored

Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy are once again officially set to take their joint project on the road. The duo will return in 2026 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of R.E.M.'s Lifes Rich Pageant.

The album was released in 1986. It was a significant time point for R.E.M. The band's underground college-rock music gradually began to reach a relatively wider audience. Songs like "Fall on Me," "Begin the Begin," and "Superman" received notable acclaim from fans and enthusiasts in the mid-80s.

Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy plan to perform the record in full, along with additional R.E.M. tracks, across this newly announced 22-date North American run.

R.E.M. took to their official Instagram handle to announce Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy's 2026 trek plans. The post read:

"Messers @jasonnarducy - @michaelshannon and friends (@jonwurster, @stirratt2, @dagjuhlin & @vijaytellisnayak) will tour in tribute to the 40th anniversary of the band's fourth studio album, Lifes Rich Pageant, next year."

The post continued:

"The tour will kickoff in Denver, February 11 and conclude in Bloomington, Indiana on March 16. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM. Check @jasonnarducy's page for more info and visit the link in bio to read an article on the tour @brooklynvegan."

Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy started this project in 2023 with a Chicago show to celebrate R.E.M.'s debut album, Murmur. The event featured a guest appearance by bassist Mike Mills.

In 2025, the duo expanded the idea with Fables of the Reconstruction, which included stops in the U.S., U.K., and Ireland. It brought about a rare onstage reunion of all four original R.E.M. members in Athens, Georgia. The touring lineup includes Jon Wurster on drums, John Stirratt on bass, Dag Juhlin on guitar, and Vijay Tellis-Nayak on keyboards.
