Following years of solo projects and mandatory military service, K-pop boy band BTS is reportedly preparing for its biggest world tour ever, with around 65 shows across multiple continents. Alongside it, the group is also expected to release a new album in March 2026. If confirmed, the record will be their first group project in nearly six years.

The news was first reported by Bloomberg and has sent the internet into overdrive. Fans reacted, saying:

"Sixty five dates my wallet just fainted in advance."

Notably, BTS' label, Big Hit Music, has not officially confirmed the dates of the tour. However, insiders reportedly suggest that the plans are relatively huge. Over 30 shows are expected to be scheduled in North America, with the rest spread across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

HYBE’s Big Hit Music mentioned in a press statement:

"Details regarding the dates and scale of BTS' new world tour remain unconfirmed. The dates you mentioned are not the latest number we are discussing."

Netizens' reactions to BTS reportedly planning their biggest tour yet

Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to post that,

"BTS is reportedly planning their biggest tour ever with about 65 dates, according to Bloomberg. Their new album is reportedly set to be released at the end of March."

Fans were quick to jump into the comment section of the X post as they shared their thoughts on the report. Below are some of their reactions:

"End of March you say time to sell my soul for tickets!", declared an X user.
"This is just a concert for one member imagine how the group’s real comeback will be. The world truly is not ready for what’s coming.🥵", stated another.
"Fame this big does not return quietly. BTS gearing up for a 65-date tour sounds less like a comeback - and more like a global takeover in rhythm. 🌏A🎶", commented a third.

Others also chimed in:

"The world is not even ready for the WiFi crash that tour is about to cause, 65 shows and every ticket gone before you blink.", wrote a netizen.
"Praying that the haters and everyone who said they have flopped, changed, or are over, will not join the ticket war, please I am begging", penned another.
"WE ALL COLLECTIVELY CARE AND ARE WAITING FOR THEM PATIENTLY. just do the concert somewhere close to where i live and make the prices a bit low istg 😭😭", commented a third.

The allegedly upcoming album and tour will be BTS’ first as a full group since Proof (2022). It was an anthology record that marked their temporary pause from group activities. Since then, each member of the beloved boy band, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has delivered solo projects.

BTS is now reportedly ready to reunite for the first time since their Permission to Dance On Stage tour wrapped in Las Vegas in April 2022. That 2022 show was the K-pop act’s last live performance together.
