On June 3, 2025, @AboutMusicYT shared a post featuring BTS' Jungkook on the list of the most streamed K-pop artists on Spotify of all time. BTS' Jungkook was placed at #5 as the only K-pop soloist in the Top 5. The SEVEN singer made his mark on the list with over 8.933 billion streams on the music app.
Jeon Jungkook’s band BTS held first place on the list with 43.5 billion streams, followed by BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, and TWICE, holding second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
The amazing achievement left Jk's fans in awe. Their admiration for the Standing Next To You singer was abundant on social media. To express this sentiment, one user on X commented:
“The only possible obstacle in his career is just about be over. He will be the main pop superstar and no one can stop him!!!!!”
Fans celebrated BTS' Jungkook’s new mark
Many other fans gave their mixed reactions on the internet. While several fans praised Jk for gaining recognition only with his single solo album, others referred to the idol as ‘totally king.’

On April 17, 2025, About Music's X page announced that Golden maknae achieved the highest position in the rankings of all-time most-streamed K-pop solo artists. The vocalist of Hate You secured the top position with almost 8.6 billion plays on Spotify. To date, Jk has released just one solo album, GOLDEN.
