Actress and filmmaker Zoë Kravitz shared her thoughts about Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. On August 17, Kravitz and actor Austin Butler sat down with Tommy DiDario from ExtraTV and discussed their upcoming comedy, Caught Stealing.

As the conversation rolled on, DiDario asked Kravitz if she had heard Taylor Swift's new album, to which she said she had heard portions of it and it was “fantastic.” When DiDario said it was a “banger” album, the actress commented:

“Of course. No skips.”

The host was surprised to hear this and said this was rare, to which Zoë Kravitz replied:

“For her, it’s not.”

Zoë Kravitz was also a guest on the Late Night with Seth Meyers show on August 13. During the show, she revealed that during the LA wildfires, she lived in Taylor Swift’s house. The actress praised Swift, saying she was kind enough to allow her to stay in the house.

The Blink Twice actress shared that her mom lived in Topanga Canyon, which she felt was a risky place during the wildfire, and so she asked her to come over. Her mother brought along her pet snake and her emergency things. They stayed for about two weeks in Taylor’s old place, which the actress said was from the 1930s.

Zoë Kravitz shares an incident that happened at Taylor Swift’s house

Zoë Kravitz and her mom lived in Taylor Swift’s house, about which she told Seth Meyers:

“My mom was actually going to stay longer. I had to leave for work. And I, you know, I was kind of packing up my things. And I was saying to my mom, you know, like, “I really want to be a good house guest.”

Zoë Kravitz explained that she liked leaving places nicer than when she arrived, so she was cleaning up while her mom was upstairs. Suddenly, her mom called her on the phone, which felt strange since they were in the same house. When Zoë picked up, she noticed her mom’s voice sounded odd, and her mom asked her to come upstairs.

When Zoë went up, she found her mom sitting in the bathroom. Her mom admitted that while washing her face, she had set down her snake, Orpheus, for a moment, and it slipped into a small hole in the corner. Zoë called her assistant, who couldn’t help, after which the house manager came to their rescue.

He used a crowbar and started breaking down a portion of the bathroom, removing tiles and scratching the walls. In the end, Taylor’s bathroom was completely damaged, and Zoë realized they had no choice - either they wrecked the bathroom to find the snake or told Taylor Swift a snake was hiding in her house.

She said Taylor Swift became aware of the incident and called her in a high-pitched voice. Zoë Kravitz said she wanted to tell her something, and even before she could, Swift asked if it was about the snake incident and how the bathroom got destroyed due to it.
