On July 7, 2025, BTS' Jungkook was spotted at South Korea’s Incheon Airport as he was leaving for the US, alongside his bandmates, notably Jimin and SUGA. Jeon Jungkook's nails were seemingly painted black and blue, which caught much attention of his fans.
As the images of his nail paint went viral online, fans speculated that the idol was supporting the global ‘Polished Man’ initiative with his painted nails.
For those unaware, Polished Man is a significant initiative aimed at eliminating violence against women and children. Their purpose is straightforward yet significant, urging individuals to register and paint one nail blue—or any color of their preference—to demonstrate solidarity and stimulate essential discussions regarding the critical issue.
While some fans speculated, others seemed proud of BTS’ Jungkook for showing his support for the cause. One of them on X wrote:

Fans laud BTS' Jungkook amid speculations of supporting Polished Man campaign
Many other fans believed that the "Standing Next To You" idol colored his nails to support the campaign. While many said that BTS’ Jungkook became an icon, others couldn’t believe that the idol painted his nails.

BTS members left for the US to work on new album
Jeon Jungkook traveled with Jimin and SUGA to the US. K-media reported that the boy band will be reunited in the US and work on their new album. The reports also stated that BTS won’t be returning home for the next two months while working on their record.
