Singer Ray J, aka William Ray Norwood Jr., was a recent guest on The Adam & Wack Show.

At one point, the discussion became about Young Thug’s recent snitching controversy. The podcast hosts called up Troy Ave and asked him to share his thoughts about Young Thug.

Meanwhile, William said that he was on the podcast to talk, not to listen. He said he previously sat down with Kirk Franklin, who did not allow him to speak. He then mentioned:

“Over here in this platform of world always talking about who got locked up and who did time and who snitched and what we doing here ya’all?”

Ray J went on:

“Let’s be human beings. Let’s talk about what’s going on where we can make a change. Everybody always is talking about where did you get locked up? You was in either PC or PB or AB or AC.”

Host Wack 100 interrupted, asking Ray if nobody should care about the allegations of snitching. He responded that this wasn’t the case, but he was unhappy about discussing prison all the time. Wack 100 asked if people working in the streets should know, since some of them might try to do business with him on Center. Ray J answered that it was silly, but agreed that if someone wanted to be on Center, then yes.

Other than the snitching controversy, Young Thug also made headlines because of his claims about Lil Baby and Quality Control.

According to HotNewHipHop, he alleged that Scooter Braun offered Lil Baby a huge amount of money to leave his QC deal, but Lil Baby said no because Pierre Thomas, the CEO, wasn’t at the meeting. Later, Braun allegedly talked to P directly, and Pierre sold the label without first talking to his artist.

Ray J shares his thoughts about streaming and a new business initiative

While discussing his business and brand collaborations, Ray J said he was presently focusing on streaming. However, he said he wasn’t able to make the best of it due to gatekeeping issues. He said:

“But they're not allowing me to add in the things that I know how to do to convert my dollar. I keep implementing what I know and what I'm good at.”

Ray J went on:

“They will not let it ride 100%. So, it's affecting the conversion. and it was flowing for a minute and then I got the call from the top dogs and so I was just like I'm watching everybody else live and convert 10x sometimes 30. I want to convert 6x at least and streaming but they won't let me.”

Ray J said he was working on a new streaming show called P*rnabbis. It was set in a special house in the valley and included popular adult stars, c*nnabis stars, and brands. He shared that they would hold auditions, team up with the No Jumper family, and that he was excited about it. He also mentioned investing in a c*nnabis shop called Pineapple Express in Hollywood.
