With her Showgirl chapter nearing its curtain call, Taylor Swift is saving the softest spotlight for last.

On Saturday, Oct. 4, the pop superstar unveiled four surprise acoustic and cabaret variants of her tour favorites, each featuring reworked vocals and production, and a 24-hour window for fans to grab the limited edition CDs.

"File this under 'save your best for the finale'… I think my favorite moments from the tour were the acoustic surprises. So I went back into the studio with Max and Shellback to record acoustic/unplugged versions of a few of the Showgirl songs with brand new vocals and production!"

Each of the limited-edition CDs spotlights two acoustic songs:

- Life Is A Song Acoustic Version with “Opalite (Life Is A Song Acoustic Version)” and “Ruin the Friendship (My Advice Version)”

- Dressing Room Rehearsal Version with “Wi$h Li$t (Settled Down Acoustic Version)” and “The Life of a Showgirl (Dressing Room Rehearsal Acoustic Version)”

- Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version with “The Fate of Ophelia (Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version)” and “Eldest Daughter (Now You’re Home Acoustic Version)”

- So Glamorous Cabaret Version with “Elizabeth Taylor (So Glamorous Cabaret Version)” and Elizabeth Taylor (Original Songwriting Voice Memo)

Taylor Swift's announcement also comes with the reveal of each of the CDs' album art, one of which features the "Actually Romantic" singer sitting elegantly on the floor, beside a small, green upright piano, clad in a shimmering, body-hugging mini dress adorned with iridescent sequins and jeweled floral embellishments.

In another photo, Taylor Swift dons short blonde locks, reminiscent of women's hair trend in the 40s. She wears a bright, sparkly red top and arm sleeves, while her cheek is pressed against a telephone.

One photo also depicts the pop star with her hair down and her lips in her signature crimson shade. Taylor Swift wears a loose, bohemian-esque white dress with dramatic bell sleeves.

In the last photo, the "Look What You Made Me Do" songstress reclines gracefully amid a tangle of thick beige ropes. She sports long black hair and wears a meticulously detailed rope dress, as well as thick eyeliner and fiery red lipstick.

The four limited-edition CDs were produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with whom she collaborated on The Life of a Showgirl, 1989, and Reputation. Taylor Swift also contributed to the production.
